Apex Police Department Newsletter
Posted on Jun 10th, 2010

 All Apex Community Watch members,
The June newsletter has a several articles on upcoming events around town. If you have any question give me a call or drop me an email. There is also a crime alert being distributed by the police department regarding the recent fires. This is a copy of the information in the flyer. If you have any information regarding the fires please contact the Apex Police Department.

The Apex Police Department is offering a reward of not less than a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a series of fires which have taken place in the Town of Apex. Funding for this reward has been made possible by the Apex Police Department with the support of the Homebuilders Association of Raleigh-Wake County and other interested parties.

The homes that have been destroyed by fire all appear to have been set by human hands. All these homes were either unoccupied or under construction.

The fire incidents have occurred at:

·         1820 Grande Maison Drive – August 7, 2009

·         Beaver Creek Commons Drive – October 18, 2009

·         1813 Grand Maison Drive – February 13, 2010

·         St. Emilion Court – June 6, 2010

·         Bexley Hills – June 6, 2010

Anyone with information should call the Apex Police Department Fire Tip Line at (919) 249-1150, or by e-mail at FIREINFO@APEXNC.ORG.

All information can be left anonymously.
