HADDON HALL HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION RECREATION FACILITY RULES & REGULATIONS – 2021 *ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS AND GUIDELINES DUE TO THE GOVERNOR’S EXECUTIVE ORDER*
For your health and the health and safety of our community and our staff, please exercise social responsibility while on premises. Neither the HOA, its management company nor the pool operator can be responsible for preventing the spread of germs throughout the facility, including COVID-19.
The facility is open to use AT YOUR OWN RISK, and users are responsible for social distancing within the facility in accordance with CDC guidelines. Individuals entering the facility are specifically warned that the HOA cannot guarantee the premises are sanitized to the degree that would prevent the spread of COVID-19.
DO NOT ENTER IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAS A COUGH, FEVER, OTHER SYMPTOM OF ILLNESS, HAS TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 WITHIN THE LAST 14 DAYS, OR DO NOT WISH TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES
The governor’s latest executive order allows community pools to open at 100% capacity. Due to the executive order, social distancing is mandated. Additionally, wearing of masks when social distancing is not possible, such as moving across the pool deck when not entering or exiting the water, visiting restrooms or other areas of the facility is currently required.
The following restrictions are in addition to the standard pool rules, and in the event of conflict will supersede the restrictions stated in the standard pool rules. These rules can and will be amended by the HOA pending changes to state guidance. By entering the pool area, you agree to follow these rules:
1. Social distancing is required. Please be respectful of other attendees.
2. Masks are required when social distancing is not possible, such as moving across the pool deck when not entering or exiting the water, and when visiting restrooms, splashpad or other areas of the facility.
3. While Covid restrictions are in place, the Haddon Hall pool will be available only to homeowners, residents, their household members, OR their children’s caregiver. Non-resident guests will not be permitted while social distancing and mask guidelines are in effect.
4. While Covid restrictions are in place, minors below the age of 16 will not be permitted entry to the pool facility without being accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.
5. All floats, rafts, and above water toys will be prohibited. Personal floatation devices and submersible diving toys will be allowed but must be used only with mandatory social distancing practices.
6. The splash pad is open to young children who are accompanied by an adult who is responsible to ensure social distancing is observed at all times.
7. Running, shoving, and other forms of horseplay are prohibited within the fenced in pool area. All persons entering the facility will be required to adhere to social distancing guidelines and remain 6ft from other patrons.
There will be NO tolerance for being disrespectful to any pool staff for any reason; violations will result in a loss of pool privileges. It is for the use of Haddon Hall Community residents with active pool cards only. Owners are fully responsible for their renters, tenants, and/or family. Anyone using this facility without authorization and after hours is subject to arrest for trespassing (NCGS § 14-159.13). Any resident granting unauthorized entry may lose his or her pool access and may be fined.
