Apex, The Peak of Good Living, couldn't stay the best kept secret in North Carolina forever. Money magazine named it the 14th best small town in America in 2007. Apex has seen tremendous growth recently and several projects are underway nearby.
Haddon Hall Restaurant is a Haddon Hall Limited Development project along the Peakway and adjoining Haddon Hall's large pond. The plans call for two restaurants with areas for outdoor dining and a walking path around the pond.
The Orchards is a ranch style housing development that will occupy the land between Highway 64 and Haddon Hall behind Abby Knoll Drive. Blackburn Drive, which now dead ends at the end of the subdivision, will extend to Highway 64; although egress from Blackburn will be restricted to right turns. The Orchards are not part of Haddon Hall subdivision.
Haddon Hall Recreation Area Improvements will provide residents and their guests with improved amenities along Haywards Heath Dr.
