Improvements to the Haddon Hall Recreation Area
After several years of delay, work has finally begun on the "Master Plan" for the recreational area on Haywards Heath Drive.
Residents will soon enjoy new picnic areas, a new playground, expanded parking that will serve as a basketball court in off-peak times and other aesthetic and structural improvements.
The majority of the structural work is expected to be completed before pool season begins. The plan is being administered by the engineering firm, CLH Design. Capital Paving was selected to complete the majority of the structural work.
Clubhouse Closed Through April 15th
The Haddon Hall Clubhouse and the tennis courts will be closed through April 15th due to recreation area improvement construction. Please check the signs at the entrances and this site for futher information and for the new dates of events scheduled there.

Haddon Hall residents enjoy their neighborhood pool from May through mid-September.
It is fully staffed by certified lifeguards during the busiest pool hours and professionally maintained by a local pool management company.
Residents use their keyfobs to access the pool.
The neighborhood swim team, the Haddon Hall Hammerheads, practices and holds their home swim meets at the Haddon Hall pool. The swim team depends on the volunteers that form the Swim Team Committee and several residents have stepped up to the task. The Hammerheads will soon have sign-ups for the 2008 swim season. Trails
The walking trails in Haddon Hall are maintained by the Town of Apex and wind through wooded areas of Haddon Hall.
The City provides "doggie bags" at various spots along the path for the convenience of those who enjoy the path with their dogs and as a courtesy of those who enjoy the path without their pets.
Ponds
Haddon Hall maintains two ponds, the larger of the two having a path from Haywards Heath to Apex Peakway. It is a popular site for walking, jogging, biking, fishing or just counting the ducks.
